The origins of the company date back to 1989, when Mr Sunit Patel, founder and chairman, began with a tyre retreading business and began to learn about the recycled rubber innovation and manufacturing technologies.

The journey started with a vision to exceed customers’ expectations with quality rubber flooring.
In around 2005, we established our first manufacturing unit for recycled rubber flooring and customised rubber compounding work.

Mr Milind Patel joined his family business in the year 2015.

He began to learn about recycled rubber product innovation and manufacturing methods.
He emphasised excellence, originality, exploration, and the ability to comprehend present and future customer requirements in response to evolving dynamics in the ballistic rubber product market and live ranges.

Mr Milind Patel is the founder and brand architect for Sunflex Ballistic Rubber Products and Range Technologies. He is responsible for setting the benchmark for quality, research, development, manufacturing, sales, marketing, distribution and innovation.

Sunflex has proven unwavering dedication and loyalty, a long-term outlook built on legacy, and a more adaptable and trusting workplace environment.

With my son Milind, working closely with me, the legacy of Sunflex Ballistic Rubber Products has an exciting future.
